I am an award winning freelance art director available for commissions, specialising in illustration, photography, and design. I hold a BFA in graphic design from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and upon graduation I worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for over 30 years.
I have been fortunate to create art for such clients as Acme Archives, Lucasfilm, Sony, Arrow Video, Umbrella Entertainment, 101 Films, ESC Editions, Shout Factory, and NZZaS Magazin among others. My illustration work has also been featured in galleries and publications such as AMP, PosterSpy, Gallery 1988, Printed in Blood, and Hero Complex Gallery.
I create digitally but strive to create illustrations that have a traditional hand-drawn quality, with expression and natural texture. For each project I hope to capture a dynamic composition and accurate likeness of the subjects.
Please use my contact page or email me directly at colin@colinmurdochstudio.com if you are interested in hiring me for a project.
