For this poster I wanted to create two illustrations, one that was in my ’80’s’ style, and one that was in my ‘loose’ more painterly style.
For the first illustration I just wanted to show the main character in a style that has a bit of movement, and which isn’t rendered equally across the whole image to imply some depth.
For the second illustration I created the composition by placing the main characters into the layout and Photoshopping together the background imagery from three different images. From there I wanted to render the image in a way that looks like a traditional poster created with airbrush and coloured pencils.
