I am entered into the AMP 30×30 show for this year and I am signed up to do a poster illustration for Star Trek, The Final Frontier. I completed this illustration recently and was almost going to enter it instead of the Star Trek image…but then decided it would be better to show this off now and stick to my original plan with the Star Trek piece. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is one of my favourite movies and also has one of my favourite posters by Drew Struzan.

I have wanted to do an illustration for this movie in this style for years but have been worried about tackling such an iconic film. I was also worried about my ability to capture the feeling of the original poster while still keeping it ‘mine’. Hopefully I’ve managed to do that.
