For this illustration I wanted to continue practicing my pencil/airbrush technique. I work really hard on trying to keep natural texture in my illustrations. I also wanted to work with a limited colour palette to help with the natural look of the piece. When painting digitally it can be a bit too easy to use a lot of different colours, so I try to pretend I am painting with actual paint and the limitations of that hopefully help it look more ‘real’.
